Imaging

  • CT: well-defined lytic lesion
  • MRI: T1 Low, T2 bright

Pathology

  • Benign notochordal epithelium
  • No Malignant features

Genetics

Developmental anomaly

Treatment

  • Observation is standard
  • Excision only if symptomatic

Prognosis

  • Excellent - Benign
  • Does not transform to chordoma
